    • Thanks, Barry. The query came through the website, someoene had seen my work at Dansel Gallery, in Dorset, and got in touch direct. By a strange coincidence there was another contact made through the website from someone who also visited Dansel Gallery. An important contact, a professor from School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds, Harrogate resident, originally from Dorset, who is also chair of Leeds Climate Commission. Plus he is a keen woodworker, and nearly went to an apprenticeship with Makepeace (two year wait, though). Instead he took an academic route, and is one of the UK’s top environmental scientists. We will be collaborating on equipment and tuition, and he is keenly interested in Long Lands Common too.
